Azores archipelago is among the most stunning natural landscapes we´ll ever been. Since a long time we dreamt of being Azores wedding photographer and videographer.
And we had the luck to be there because of Steph & Steven.
In fact, this wedding was a game changer in our philosophy.
The first time we saw was via skype and the small chat we had was already full of expectations. But when we met in person we knew we´re about to had an amazing experience.
Everyone at the wedding already knew our work. It was mind blowing. Even without showing the wedding picture, we´re already receiving great feedback. And at some point we forgot to be wedding photographers and videographers. We were something more: a part of the puzzle on that day. And for the first time we felt like being home with family.
I knew on that day that we could be so much more than a service. We can (and we must) enjoy all the moments like they were the last independently of being working.
Taking pictures and shooting films are cool but they get so much value when your eyes shine during the wedding day.
We’ve had the luck of being shooting a wedding in the island of São Miguel living an amazing adventure in itself. But we´ve been more lucky for have met Steph & Steven,
who today we call friends.

Casamento íntimo da Steph & Steven na ilha de S.Miguel, Açores
O arquipélago dos Açores está entre as paisagens naturais mais deslumbrantes que alguma vez conhecemos. Há muito que sonhávamos em sermos fotógrafos e videógrafos de casamentos nos Açores. E tivemos a sorte de estar lá por causa da Steph e do Steven.
Na verdade, este casamento nos Açores foi um ponto de viragem na nossa filosofia.
Conheci o casal via skype e tivemos uma óptima conversa, já naquele momento cheia de expectativas. Mas quando nos encontramos em campo, sabíamos que estávamos prestes a ter uma experiência incrível.
Todos os convidados no casamento já conheciam o nosso trabalho, o que foi muito gratificante. Mesmo sem nenhuma foto ainda, já recebíamos óptimo feedback. E numa determinada altura já não éramos apenas fotógrafos e videógrafos de casamento. Éramos algo mais: uma parte do puzzle naquele dia. E pela primeira vez sentimo-nos em família, em casa.
Eu soube naquele dia que poderíamos ser muito mais do que um serviço. Podemos (e devemos) aproveitar todos os momentos como se fossem os últimos, independentemente de estarmos a trabalhar. Tirar fotos e filmar casamentos é espectacular, mas o trabalho final ganha muito valor quando os nossos olhos brilham durante o dia do casamento.
Tivemos a sorte de estar a filmar um casamento na ilha de São Miguel, e viver uma aventura incrível por si só. Mas tivemos ainda mais sorte por conhecer a Steph e Steven, aos quais hoje chamamos amigos.
